About me:
I am assistant professor in the department of chemistry of the University of Sebha, where I am also vice-president for scientific affairs. I hold a first degree from the University of Sebha, an MSc from the university of Sirte and an MSc and a PhD from the Florida Institute of Technology. I have also been head of the international co-operation office of Sebha University and dean of the faculty of science. Prior to joining the University of Sebha, I taught at the University of Sirte. I have also been a high school teacher in Misurata and a chemist at Ras Lanuf Oil and Gas Processing Co. I have also won several innovation prizes in Libya. My research interests are in the fields of general, organic and analytical chemistry, nanoparticles, heavy metals, activated carbon, and hermodynamic, kinetic and isotherm process. I am a member of the American Chemical Society, and the Asia-Pacific Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society, and member of the editorial board of the Asian Food Science Journal.
